Workers bare all for railway charity

Marston Hotels’ Crewe Hall property, in Cheshire, was the host venue for a nude calendar shoot featuring 21 female rail industry workers.

Five shots were taken in and around the hotel for the Laid Bare for Charity 2005 calendar, which has already raised £20,000 for Railway Children, a charity dedicated to helping abandoned children who live in poverty at railway stations across the world.

Virgin Trains employee Sonia Crosby thought up the idea of the nude calendar and even persuaded the group’s chair, Richard Branson, to strip for the cover. Details: www.railwaychildren.org.uk
