Pezula Resort Hotel set to open in South Africa

The Pezula Resort Hotel is set to open on the eastern head of Knysna in the Western Cape of South Africa on 1 February.

The R200m (£17.5m, 25.5m euro, US$33m) luxury hotel and spa is a member of Great Hotels of the World and part of a R1bn (£88.5m, 127m euro, US$166m) Knysna development which also includes a championship golf course.

It is owned by a South African company and will be operated by Southern Sun as part of its Southern Sun Collection.

The property will boast 76 suites designed by Keith Africa Designs and a restaurant offering a variety of ‘modern ethnic’ dishes.

The spa and fitness centre including a 25m swimming pool, sauna, steamroom, spa pool, treatment and a post-treatment room with heated massage water beds.

The resort also has its own helicopter and private eight-seater jet to transport guests to nearby attractions and destinations further afield in South Africa.
