Mandara Spa for Disney World hotel

Steiner Leisure, which owns the Mandara Spa brand, has signed a contract to build and operate a luxury spa at the Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin hotel in Orlando, Florida.

Mandara has agreed a 20-year lease for the $2.5m (£1.3m, 1.9m Euros) spa, which will include around 15 treatment rooms, steamrooms, a tea garden, relaxation areas, a meditation garden and a hair and nail salon.

The 2,267-room hotel is owned by Tishman Realty & Construction Corporation and managed by Starwood Resorts.

Leonard Fluxman, president of Steiner Leisure, said: “Starwood operates some of the finest resort facilities in the world. The Swan and Dolphin at Walt Disney World is no exception and we are pleased to be able to continue to build our Mandara relationship with Starwood and Tishman.”

Steiner operates 53 resort spas and two luxury day spas as well as 114 spas and salons on cruise ships around the world.
