Kur Waters Spa to launch in south Brazil

The owners of the Kurotel Longevity Center and Spa in Brazil have opened a new day spa called Kur Waters Station and Spa in Gramado city, south Brazil.

Husband and wife Dr Luis Carlos and Neusa Silveira invested around BRL5m (US$2.12m, 1.64m euro, £1.52m) in the 14,165sq ft (1,316sq m) facility.

Split across two floors, the first floor is the ‘waters station’ floor, and has a swimming pool, 18 wet treatment rooms (for water and mud therapies), a lounge area and a reception.

The second floor boasts a further 18 treatment rooms as well as a relaxation area. A range of beauty and medical treatments are offered, including body, face and hair therapies as well as dermatological and nutritional consultations. Treatments use the company’s own product line, Kur Cosmetics.

The target audience for the spa is primarily South American men and women between the ages of 40 and 60 years old.

The first Kurotel property – the Kurotel Longevity Center – opened in Gramado, Brazil, in 1982.
