Hilton wins Mount Wolseley contract
Hilton International is to take over the management of the five-star Mount Wolseley Country Estate in Ireland from 1 June.
The golf and country club hotel is located on the Wolseley Estate in County Carlow and is privately owned by the Morrissey Family.
The 142-room hotel opened a £22m extension in October 2004 and spent a further £5m on a holistic spa, which will now be rebranded as The Sensory, becoming part of LivingWell health club.
The hotel’s name will be changed to The Mount Wolseley Hilton and it will be Hilton’s fifth in Ireland. Details: www.hilton.com
