Jamberoo to build new attraction for summer 05 season

New South Wales’ largest theme park, Jamberoo Recreation Park, is building a 75 metre long wave pool, which will open in time for the Australian summer season in December 2005.

Outback Bay will feature rolling waves up to one metre high, replicating those on a surf beach. A full compliment of life guards will be on hand to make sure guests are kept safe.

The 50-acre family owned park is celebrating 25 years of operation in 2005. Outback Bay is part of an ongoing expansion plan to develop the park as part of its Silver Jubilee. Last year, a children’s play pool complete with waterslides and giant dumping bucket was added to the facility, along with a 250 metre rapid river attraction. Details: +61 2 4224 6535
