The Ritz-Carton Bali Resort & Spa in Indonesia has added a new luxury extension to its existing thalasso spa. Located below the resort’s cliff face and anchored offshore by natural rock formations, the Spa on the Rocks facility comprises of a double and a single treatment villa. Both villas have rain showers and oversized bathtubs and offer guests 270-degree views of the Indian Ocean. Treatments at the thatched roof enclosed timber villas include reflexology, aromatherapy, a range of massages, body scrubsand wraps as well as facials. The Spa on the Rocks’ signature 180-minute Diamond Miracle treatment comprises of a massage, a body scrub and a ocean splash petal bath – including 500 freshly-picked red rose petals. All treatments at the spa are provided by French suppliers Thermes Marins and Guinot. In the evenings, the two villas will be turned into a private dining area. The 375-room resort opened in 1996 and facilities include 13 restaurants, a 18-hole golf putting course, a health and fitness club, tennis courts and 650sq m Seawater Therapy pool. Close Window |
