Six new sites for Lollipop’s Playlands

Lollipop’s Playlands, the Australian operator of children’s indoor entertainment centres, has confirmed it is to develop six new locations in Australia.

Penrith, New South Wales, Airport West, Melbourne, and Springwood, Brisbane will all open in 2005, followed by a further site in Sydney and three in Melbourne, in 2006.

Lollipops’s Playlands started in 1993. By 2006, it will have 14 locations in Australia and nine in New Zealand. Each site is approximately 1,000 sqm in size, employs 30 – 35 staff and costs AUS$400,000 to set up. The new sites will be run by franchise owner operators. Details: +61 402 120 039
