![]() Singapore’s island resort, Sentosa, has teamed up with the University of Massachusetts Amherst to offer a three-day seminar introducing casino management as a career for executives in the hospitality and tourism industry. Dr Steven Chua, director of strategic projects for Sentosa Leisure Group, said: “A whole new industry will be introduced for the first time in Singapore – one that will bring about some 35,000 new jobs locally – and it is something we need to be geared up for.” The seminar will be held at the new Tourism Academy @ Sentosa campus between 24-26 August.
