The e2 chain, which has been privately owned since it was founded in 1989, manages nine fitness centres in the Stockholm area. Its managing director, Anders Svensson, will now joint the SATS Sverige management team.

SATS operates around 100 clubs – 81 are owned and the rest operated on a franchise and licence basis – in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

The company aims to continue growing through new sites, acquisitions and increasing membership.
