13 Sep 2005 Earth spa comes to Thailand |
![]() Six Senses has opened the Earth Spa alongside the new Evason Hideaway at Hua Hin in Thailand. The Earth Spa comprises nine circular, domed buildings created entirely from a mixture of clay-like mud, rice husks and straw. Set over 1,390sq m (14,920sq ft), the spa features four treatment rooms with private outdoor whirlpools, two steamrooms, a meditation cave and a relaxation area. Treatments focus on Skin Food – the philosophy that nothing should be put onto the skin which could not be eaten. Many of the ingredients used in the treatments – such as coconut, papaya, ginger, avocado and lime – are freshly harvested at the Evason resort. Details: www.sixsenses.com Close Window |
