The group, which currently boasts 140 outlets in Germany, Austria, Belgium and Switzerland, also has further sites planned in Europe.

Two licenced outlets are due to launch near Pisa and Rimini in October and another Injoy gym is currently under construction on the island of Sardinia.

Meanwhile, the group has joined up with sportswear company FILA to encourage 150,000 people to get active in Germany and Austria. More than 360 fitness clubs have joined the campaign so far.
