UK Sport appoints new board members
Rod Carr and Chris Holmes have been appointed as independent members of the board of UK Sport.
Carr is currently the chief executive of the Royal Yachting Association and received the National Coaching Foundation’s Geoffrey Dyson award in 2000.
Holmes, Britain’s most successful paralympic swimmer, has previously served as a commissioner for the Disability Rights Commission.
