03 Jun 2009 Herbal Thai ritual debuts at MO Miami BY Sarah Todd |
The spa at Mandarin Oriental in Miami, US, has launched a new treatment called the Herbal Thai Compress Ritual. Designed to soothe muscles, the ritual uses compresses made from naturally therapeutic ingredients and has been created to help support Florida's World Heritage site. In honour of every guest booking the treatment, a live oak, bald cypress, slash pine or gumbo limbo tree will be planted at the nearby Everglades National park. Osa Mallo, director of the spa, said: "As members of the World Heritage Alliance for Sustainable Tourism, we are proud to support conservation. Every time guests enjoy this treatment, they will be helping to preserve and protect our nearest World Heritage site for future generations." Details: mohg.com Close Window |
