Aerobiking in style with the V850

Sussex-based Instyle Aerobiking will be unveiling a new bike early in the New Year.

Wearing an elegant green paint scheme, the V850 uses the same bike frame geometry as the company's top of the range V900 and has the same range of resistance, handlebar and seat position adjustment, combined with a chain drive.

With a broad rubber surround, the bike's emergency brake doubles up with the resistance control, allowing it to be hit hard to stop the flywheel in a hurry. Another feature will be rubber covered broad safety pedals combined with an SPD fitting, said by Instyle to be a first for indoor exercise bikes.

The V850 will sit in the mid to low end of the price range and the company is working on plans for launching a home training DVD - four different instructors running 20 minute sessions - and licence free music for instructors.

Other machines in the Instyle portfolio include the best-selling V600 budget bike, ideal for the home fitness centre, the Junior Aerobike for children in the 6-12 year old age group, the V800SQ, a mid-range cycle aimed at professional fitness centres, and the top flight super smooth belt driven V900.
