Barcelona’s new Hesperia hotel
The £50.3m (73m euro, US$87.5m) Hesperia Tower Hotel & Convention Centre in Barcelona, Spain, has opened.
Designed by the Richard Rogers Partnership and Alonso Balaguer Architects, the 280-bedroom hotel includes a 4,000sq m (43,000sq ft) health club and spa, which is due to open in May.
GCA Associated Architects designed the bedroom interiors, while Michelin starred chef Santi Santamaria will oversee the restaurant, which will open in April. Details: www.hoteles-hesperia.es
