Rainfortress added to Wild Wadi Water Park

Wild Wadi Waterpark in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has unveiled its newest family attraction.

The new interactive ride is called Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon and features more than 100 water features including water slides, a giant tipping bucket, a pair of mini multi-lane slides and several water guns.

Designed by US-based Whitewater West, the new attraction is part of the company’s AquaPlay RainFortress line and has an Arabian theme. It is one of the first multi-level family attractions in the region.

The four-hectare (12 acre) Wild Wadi Waterpark is part of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel complex and includes 24 interconnected water rides, including the ‘Jumeirah Sceirah’, which hurtles visitors down at speeds of up to 80kph (50mph).
