£12.5m Ocean Cove to open

A £2.5m luxury holiday home development in Tintagel, Cornwall, will open this May.

Ocean Cove, owned by the UK-based Haulfryn Group since 2005, will consist of 80 luxury lodges, ranging from £110,000 and £250,000 to buy.

The lodges overlook Bossiney Cove, one of Cornwall’s top surfing beaches.

The former caravan park will also feature a leisure complex boasting an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steamroom, and fitness suite, for exclusive use by owners of the lodges.

VisitCornwall’s PR manager, Teresa Timms, said: “This new development will provide visitors to the county with a high standard of accommodation in a beautiful setting.”

Rod Tucker, Haulfryn’s joint managing director, said: “This luxury development offers the epitome of what a holiday home should be – you couldn’t find bricks and mortar in such a picturesque location with exclusive leisure facilities too.”

Haulfryn currently runs 16 holiday parks and a further 32 residential parks in Britain.
