£36m Indiana waterpark planned

US-based real estate developer Puller Group has partnered with businessman Bob Peterson to develop a £36m (US$65m, 52m euro) waterpark in Fishers, Indiana, US.

The 80,000sq ft (7,400sq m) Paradise Bay Waterpark will comprise a 500,000-gallon wave pool, a lazy river and water slides.

A 216-bedroom hotel – to be built on an adjacent site – will feature an 8,000sq ft (740sq m) games arcade and a restaurant.

The waterpark will also exhibit 4–20ft (1.2–6m) long fresh- and salt-water fish tanks containing colourful fish and sea creatures.

Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf Architects designed the park, which is being developed by Skjodt Thomas Associates. Completion is scheduled for 2008. Three further waterparks in Indiana and Ohio are planned. Details: www.pullergroup.com
