Animal Grossology exhibition opens in Arizona

The Arizona Science Center in Phoenix, US, has opened a new exhibition called Animal Grossology.

The exhibition is based on the Grossology book series by Sylvia Branzei, which aims to present science to children in a fun and interactive manner.

Chew Chew Express displays the midsection of a life-sized cow to demonstrate the digestive tract, while the Slime Game is an interactive game featuring three of the slimiest animals in the world. Dung Ball Rally is a computer game in which visitors compete against one another to push a giant ball of poop through an obstacle course.

Animal Grossology – sponsored by JPMorgan Chase and The Arizona Republic – is open to the public until 4 September. Details: www.azscience.org
