07 Sep 2006 350m euro development of Dublin’s Boland Mills |
![]() A planning application for a 350m euro (£238m) redevelopment of Boland Mills in the Dockland area of Dublin has been submitted by Benton Property Holding. The scheme, designed by Irish architects Scott Tallon Walker, will include the conversion of a six-storey warehouse into a four-star, 53-room boutique hotel as well as a café, a health spa and a 150-cover Gary Rhodes restaurant, to be known as Rhodes D4. The amenities will serve three new office buildings, ranging from 12 to 16 storeys and totalling 34,650sq m (373,000sq ft). The Boland Flour Mills and the accompanying concrete grain silos were built in the 1830s and 1950s respectively and closed in 2001. It is expected that the project will take nine months to get planning permission. Details: www.benton-property.com Close Window |
