Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong reopens

The Mandarin Oriental hotel in Hong Kong has reopened following a HKD$1.09bn (£74.6m, US$140m, 110m euro) revamp.

The renovated hotel features 502 guestrooms and suites, nine restaurants and bars, a holistic spa, a sky-lit fitness facility with a swimming pool, a traditional barber and hair salon and banqueting facilities.

The hotel’s general manager, Peter French, said: “Room by room and floor by floor, every last detail has been put into place in order to ensure the hotel’s legendary status.” Details: www.mandarinoriental.com
