Hyatt Hotels Corporation (HHC) has posted a net loss of US$12m (£7.9m, €8.8m) for the fourth quarter ending 31 December 2009, compared with US$142m (£93.6m, €104.5m) in Q4 2008. The results are the first to be published since the US-based hotel group revealed it had raised US$950m (£626.7m, €700m) from an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in November. However, HHC posted a net loss of US$43m (£28.3m, €31.6m) for the year to 31 December 2009, which compares with net earnings of US$168m (£110.8m, €123.9m) during 2008. Close Window |
