Pub and club operator Enterbiz has sold its Paradise Nightclub in Pontardawe, Wales to nightclub entrepreneurs Michael Benyon and Alistair Parker in a deal believed to be worth around £230,000. The 700-capacity venue comprises a split-level trading area, with a dance floor on the lower level and seating areas plus a DJ booth and stage on the upper level. The new owners, who also own the La Cantina bar in Swansea, have carried out a refurbishment programme on the property, which has been re-named Mamas Paradise Nightclub and Live Music Venue. Enterbiz, which is run by Sean Murray, currently operates three businesses in the Bargoed area of Mid Glamorgan, two pubs - the Plas Newydd and The Darvan Hotel plus a nightclub called Cleopatra's. Christie + Co. acted on behalf of Enterbiz on the deal. Close Window |
