New GM for Verdura Golf and Spa Resort

The Rocco Forte Collection (RFC) appointed Luciano Lusardi as the new general manager of the Verdura Golf & Spa Resort in south west Sicily.
Italian-born Lussardi reopened the 203-bedroom resort on March 1 for its first full season.
Lussardi, a 28-year veteran of the hotel industry, joins RFC from InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) where he has spent the past 21 years.
He most recently held the position of area director of operations, based in Madrid where he successfully managed 80 IHG properties in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
During this time he supervised the development of two golf resort hotels in La Manga, Spain.
