The four-hectare, AUS$60m (£24m, US$46m, 36m euro) park boasts a beach theme designed to celebrate Australia’s surfing culture.

It is a separately gated attraction to Dreamworld but a new Two Day World Pass includes entry to both parks.

A series of curriculum-based student courses are also set to be implemented at WhiteWater World next year, offering primary and senior students a series of science, maths, chemistry and water conservation programmes.
