Warner Bros. Movie World to unveil Batwing Spaceshot
The Warner Bros. Movie World theme park on Australia’s Gold Coast is to unveil its new Batwing Spaceshot thrill ride to the media tomorrow (20 December).
The ride – based on the DC Comics character Batman – features a 4.5G vertical launch up a 60m tower, with riders going up to 64km/h, and then dropping into a negative descent. It will carry 360 passengers per hour and last for 50 seconds.
The ride will open to the public on 26 December, a year to the day after the opening of its Superman Escape rollercoaster.
