Terminator attraction to be launched
BY Luke Tuchscherer

The Sudden Impact! Entertainment Company is to launch its new Terminator X: A Laser Battle for Salvation attraction in three parks.

After the attraction was launched in Australia at the end of last year, the New York-based firm is taking it to La Ronde in Montreal, Canada, Sunway Lagoon in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia (both launching this month)and Six Flags in Mexico, which will launch in June.

Terminator X: A Laser Battle for Salvation is the brainchild of Lynton V. Harris, chair, CEO & creative director of The Sudden Impact! Entertainment Company, which creates live productions based on Hollywood blockbuster films and TV shows for worldwide tours.

The attraction gives guests “the chance to experience what it’s like to be inside a live video game, doing battle with each other and the apocalyptic environment of the Terminator”.

Players enter a briefing room for their instructions and battle gear, before entering the themed arena armed with high tech laser guns, ready to take on their enemy.

It is the firm’s second laser-based attraction, following on from Alien Vs Predator Vs You, which launched at Dreamland in Australia last Easter.
