Asia’s only African-themed safari resort, the Leofoo Resort Guanshi, has opened in Hsinchu County in north west Taiwan. The resort boasts animals such the eland Oryx, antelope, rhinoceros, giraffes, zebra, ibis flamingos, ring-tailed foxes, black and white collar fox monkeys, ostriches and others. It is one of the few green hotels in Taiwan, and has incorporated the sustainable environment into its design. The 164 rooms feature refrigerators, LCD TVs with satellite, as well as wired and wireless internet connections. The Phoenix restaurant provides all-day dining and can cater for up to 300 people. There is also the 40-head Cape of Good Hope deli, which provides light snacks and appetisers. Close Window |
