![]() Work will begin later this year on the US$1.6bn (1.23bn euro, £0.81bn) Baha Mar development in Nassau, the Bahamas. A joint venture between Harrah’s, Starwood and the Baha Mar Resorts company, the 1,000-acre integrated resort ‘metropolis’ will feature a free-standing, luxury spa facility and also include six hotels, the largest casino in the region and a championship golf course.
