Warner opens Batwing Spaceshot thrill ride

Warner Bros. Movie World theme park on Australia’s Gold Coast has opened its Batwing Spaceshot thrill ride attraction.
The ride – based on the DC Comics character Batman – features a 4.5G vertical launch up a 60m tower, with riders going up to 64km/h, and then dropping into a negative descent. It carries 360 passengers per hour and lasts for 50 seconds.
The ride opened to the public on 26 December, a year to the day after the opening of Move World's Superman Escape rollercoaster.
