26 Jan 2007 Chiva-Som plans Niranlada medi-spa rollout BY Sarah Todd |
![]() Thai health resort Chiva-Som has revealed further details of its planned rollout of Niranlada, its on-site medi-spa facility dedicated to cosmetic procedures. The first Niranlada, meaning ‘eternal flower’ or ‘eternal beauty’ in Thai, opened at Chiva-Som Hua Hin in August 2005. Its non-invasive services include laser skin rejuvenation and skin tightening and contouring. According to Chiva-Som’s general manager, Paul Linder, such has been its success at the resort that Chiva-Som plans to double the facility space to 1,720sq ft (160sq m). Niranlada will be an integral part of Chiva-Som’s expansion plans. Its second health resort in Khao-Kor, Petchaboon – which is currently under construction for opening in 2009 – will also include a Niranlada medi-spa. Chiva-Som also continues to seek development opportunities outside of Thailand. (For further details, please see the Spa Business Chiva-Som feature 06/Q4 p96) Close Window |
