All Bar One to roll out in Germany
Six Continents is to roll out All Bar One bars in Germany after the first was opened in Cologne city centre.
Having already bought the Alex chain of bars and brasseries in Germany and opened a first All Bar One in October 2001, a spokesperson confirmed that the time was right for expansion:
'Having the infrastructure right with the Alex chain, we believe it is time to go in with All Bar One. We are looking for prime sites - in the same way as these were located in Britain.'
The company confirms it is at the negotiation stage concerning a number of prospective sites.
