09 Mar 2007 Buddha Bar brand opens first spa site BY Sarah Todd |
![]() The team behind the Buddha Bar has opened its first spa at the Hilton Evian Resort at Evian-les-Bains, France. The 19,375sq ft (1,800sq m) Buddha-bar Spa occupies three floors at the resort. The interior design features a fusion of eastern and western influences, taking many of its core architectural ideas from the flagship Buddha Bar in Paris. There are six individual multi-purpose therapy spaces, plus two oriental ritual scrubbing rooms, a sauna with chromotherapy and a hammam, both supplied by Dalesauna. Therapies mostly use Tibetan, Thai, Indian and other eastern practices. Situated in the Haute Savoie region of France, the hotel and spa is a 35 minute boat ride from Lausanne. Close Window |
