Fairmont to manage ‘green’ hotel and spa

The Fairmont Hotels & Resorts group is to manage a new hotel and spa at Three PNC Plaza, Pittsburgh, US, within a 780,000sq ft (72,465sq m) mixed-use ‘green’ building.
The complex is currently under construction for a summer 2009 opening and will be built according to sustainable design and construction guidelines.
The Fairmont Pittsburgh will include 185 guest rooms, an 8,000sq ft (743sq m) spa and 12,000sq ft (1,115sq m) of meeting space.
