Renovated Tylösand Sweden spa relaunches

The spa at Hotel Tylösand in Sweden has reopened following an extensive SEK50m (E5.4m, £3.6m, US$7.1m) refurbishment.

Designed by Swedish architect Kay Linghoff, the Scandinavian-style spa covers 2,150sq ft (200sq m) and has 21 treatment rooms, including two suites.

Consultancy Raison d’Etre were used during the development of the new spa and its signature therapy is the Chili Fruit Treatment, which involves a wrap and massage and uses a locally-based, holistic product range called Ingrid K.

Located on the south west coast of Sweden, 9km from the town of Halmstad, the hotel and spa are privately owned by Per Gessle from the band Roxette and businessman Björn Halmstad.
