The first Canyon Ranch Living, in Miami Beach, US, will launch this summer. Built on a six-acre, ocean-front site, Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach will feature condominiums and hotel suites, plus a 70,000sq ft (6,500sq m) spa.

The first urban application of the concept – Canyon Ranch Living Chicago – is currently under construction and will open in 2010.

Owned and developed by Related Midwest and managed by Canyon Ranch, exterior architects on the new Chicago site are DeStefano and Partners while Robert D Henry Architects is designing the 65,000sq ft (6,040sq m) spa and wellness centre, hotel rooms and public spaces.
