Vivafit brand going strong

Vivafit has the highest overall brand awareness among women in Portugal when compared with other fitness chains.

This is one of the main conclusions of a market study conducted in June 2010 among women - not Vivafit customers - aged between 18 and 60 years.

For 77.3 per cent of the 1,000 women who participated in this study, Vivafit is the most recognised health club brand, followed by Holmes Place and Solinca.

It's the most recognised brand among women who don't exercise at gyms (68 per cent of respondents). For women who already exercise regularly in gyms (17.3 per cent of respondents), Holmes Place was placed first in terms of awareness.

The study was conducted by IMR - Instituto de Marketing Research.
