CIBTAC course gains 100 per cent pass rate

The Spa Professionals International Development Center in Parañaque City, the Philippines, has gained a 100 per cent pass rate for the second intake for its Confederation of International Beauty Therapists and Cosmetologists (CIBTAC) therapist licensing course.

Taking place from January to April, the CIBTAC syllabus covered theoretical and practical aspects of massage therapy alongside anatomy and physiology and was taught by the Spa Professionals instructor Beng Custodio.

UK-based CIBTAC examiner Davika Patel flew to the Philippines to administer the exam.

The successful graduates include Spa Association of the Philippines officers Marjorie Lopingco and Catherine Brillantes-Turvill – president and vice president respectively – and Spa Professionals instructors Dr Rhaychelle Natividad, Maritess Aringo and Carl de La Vina.

The Spa Professionals Center opened in 2005 as a sister company to the existing supplier group Spa Essentials. Aside from basic and advanced training, the institute also offers consultancy services.
