The 1.03m euro (£700,000, US$1.37m) spa covers 6,458 sq ft (600sq m) plus adjoining terraces and was designed by the Spanish architect José A Cachón Torres.

Owned by the Magdalena family, the spa consists of a hammam, ice cabin, Turkish bath, steamroom, swimming pool, whirlpool and treatment rooms.The spa offers services including massages and beauty treatments.

Other facilities within the Magdalena complex include a gym and a café lounge and health food restaurant.
