Es Saadi Palace Spa to open this month

A new spa is set to open at the Es Saadi Gardens & Resort in Marrakech, Morocco, later this month.

The 32,000sq ft luxury spa will be located within its own 20-acre private garden, adjacent to the resort’s two hotels and 10 luxury villas.

Facilities at the spa, which is built around a 100-year-old eucalyptus tree, include 24 treatment rooms, Moroccan and Indian-themed hammams, a 10,800sq ft relaxation terrace and swimming pools.

There is also a VIP Spa Suite designed for couples – described as a ‘spa within a spa’ – with its own private Moroccan hammam, twin baths for balneotherapy, a relaxation room, a library and a herbal tea room.

The spa menu includes five signature Es Saadi massages, ranging from body sculpture and detox to relaxing head massages.

Treatments will be supplied by a number of product houses – La Sultane de Saba, Micheline Arcier, Thali, Phyto – and include aromatherapy, facials, hydrotherapy baths, oriental beauty rituals and hair treatments.

Fitness amenities include a free weights room, a CV area, a vibration training zone, Technogym’s Kinesis range and a class room for yoga.

Also on site will be the world’s second Dior Institut, providing anti-ageing care through bespoke skin and body treatments.

There will also be an organic Spa restaurant, called Bio du Bled, serving up vegetarian food sourced from the resort’s own farm.

The Es Saadi Gardens & Resort houses the 150-bedroom Es Saadi Hotel, the 92-bedroom Es Saadi Palace and 10 luxury villas.

The family-owned, privately operated resort first opened in 1952. The first hotel (Es Saadi Hotel) was launched in the 1960s and The Es Saadi Palace hotel opened in 2007.

The new Es Saadi Palace Spa is the second spa to open at the resort, following the launch of the Oriental Spa at the Es Saadi Hotel in 2002.
