Wyndham to franchise Dream and Night brands

Wyndham Hotels has gained the worldwide exclusive right to franchise and manage the Dream and Night boutique hotel brands of New York-based Chatwal Hotels & Resorts.

Dream and Night hotels are currently open in New York; Bangkok, Thailand; and Cochin, India, with the 108-room, art-deco-inspired Dream South Beach scheduled to open this year in Miami Beach. The company also plans to open a Dream hotel in New York's Meatpacking District during Q2 2011, as well as expanding into south Asia.

The Night brand, which Wyndham plans to develop in primary and secondary markets, will be positioned as an 'affordably chic' hotel option featuring innovative designs and services such as guest deejays in lounges, discounts for motorists driving hybrid and electric cars and gourmet quick-serve food and beverage outlets.

Developers will be able to adapt the product to both full-service and limited-service models that offer a ground floor 'living area' with a space for social gatherings.

Dream is positioned as a full-service, lifestyle brand for gateway cities and resort destinations, offering a light-hearted, fun-loving environment and using vivid visuals and trend-setting design.
