Shangri-La rebrand for Rasa Sentosa

Following a 10-month, S$80m (£39m) makeover, the Rasa Sentosa Resort in Singapore has been re-branded and reopened as Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort, Singapore.

The number of rooms has been reduced from 459 to 454 and all feature balcony views of either the hill, garden, pool or sea.

Wining and dining options are Dine On 3, a new destination-dining concept that features three restaurants - Casserole, Silver Shell Café and 8 Noodles - and a bar - The Bubble Bar - all under one roof; Barnacles Restaurant; the Siloso Beach Bar; and Trapizza.

Recreational facilities include The Flying Trapeze, the Sea Sports Centre, a swimming pool, the Rasa Spa and outdoor Jacuzzis.

For children of four to 12, Cool Zone offers children's meals and three supervised activity centres - Toots Club, Craft Zone and Game Zone. Elsewhere is a children's swimming pool with water slides and a splash pad.
