Hilton Hotels has doubled its presence in the Seychelles following the signing with Silhouette Island Resort Limited of the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort and Spa. The 111-villa resort - formerly the Labriz Resort & Spa - will join the existing Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa. Situated on Silhouette, third largest of the Seychelles' islands, it will receive a revamp before reopening under the Hilton Hotels and Resorts brand. Available to guests will be five dining areas offering various international cuisines, a fitness centre, spa, tennis court, swimming pool and a water sports centre featuring scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing. Further developments at Hilton have seen the opening of its first Doubletree hotel in Istanbul. The 171-room DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul is in the city's old town and offers the Terrace and Old Town restaurants, a Precor-equipped fitness centre, and a spa offering a whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath and steam bath. Elsewhere, Hilton Worldwide has signed with Thailand-based TCC Hotel Group for a 287-room new build Hilton Hotels & Resorts hotel and a 182-room conversion project to be rebranded as a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. Both properties are in Sukhumvit, Bangkok and both are due for completion in 2012. Image: Hilton Hotel Sukhumvit. Hilton Hotels & Resorts Close Window |
