BY Tom Walker

Hotel group Radisson Edwardian, which owns and operates the London's iconic May Fair Hotel, is to open its newest property in the capital this summer.

The 185-bedroom Radisson Edwardian Guildford will include a large day spa and conferencing space as well as a range of dining options.

The spa will house a swimming pool, five treatment rooms, a relaxation area, sauna, steamroom and mud spa as well as a fitness suite.

The £60m development on the site of the historic White Horse Hotel is collaboration between Marcol, the Nicolas James Group and the operator Radisson Edwardian Hotel Group, a subsidiary of the Rezidor Group.

The restaurants and bars will be created by designers Gorgeous Group whose recent projects have included The Dorchester, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and the Savoy.
