08 Mar 2011 IFAB to extend goal line technology tests BY Pete Hayman |
The International Football Association Board (IFAB) has agreed to extend tests of goal line technology by an additional one-year period. At its annual general meeting in Newport, Wales, IFAB was told that none of the ten groups to put forward potential solutions had met criteria set out by the organisation last October. A special meeting of IFAB will take place to discuss the issue, as well as additional assistant referees, following the end of the 2011-12 season. Close Window |
