Macquarie backs Noosa Heads development

Property investment group Macquarie Real Estate has joined Leighton Properties as a joint venture partner in the AUS$300m (189m euro, US$258m, £128m) Viridian Noosa residential and spa resort development.
The project is located between Hastings Street and the Noosa National Park on Australia’s Sunshine Coast.
The property is currently in the final stage of development, which will include the construction of the Viridian Resort & Spa and will be completed by 2009.
