S$4m magical waterscreen spectacular for Sentosa

Water explosions, mist bars, giant flames, sky beams, parabolic jets and a 20 metre wide water screen combine to make a brand new multimedia spectacular at Sentosa Island off Singapore.

Created by ECA2, the S$4m 'Magical Sentosa' spectacle will open on 19 September and will replace the two year old musical fountain show called 'Spirits of Sentosa'.

ECA2's Creative Director, Yves Pepin has created a character called Kiki the Monkey, using CGI technology, to entertain audiences with a major musical and visual extravaganza. The performance features four original music scores composed by ECA2's Philippe Villar and Pascal Lengagne, incorporating both Western and Eastern musical instruments.

When the show opens, it will be the first of a series of new attractions planned for Sentosa, which is undergoing a S$6bn redevelopment under the guidance of Sentosa Development Corporation CEO Darrell Metzger.

'With the Magical Sentosa show we want to tell all our friends out there that from now on, everything we do will be at par with world class standards that exist in the world of entertainment.' Metzger says

The all-new show will set a benchmark for forthcoming attractions and amenities on Sentosa.'
