Work has started on a new £500,000 extension at Kingfisher Leisure Centre in Sudbury, Suffolk. The project will comprise a soft play frame suitable for under-eights incorporating twin wavy and spiral slides, log ramps, crawl tubes and a toddler pit for the youngest users. The work will also include a new porch and draught lobby improving access to the existing facilities. South Suffolk Leisure, the trust that operates the site, has set aside £500,000 for the works and Babergh District Council is providing a further £100,000. Close Window |
