New Shanghai hotel for Marriott International

Marriott International has opened the 720-bedroom Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre, a new flagship Chinese property for the Marriott Hotels and Resorts brand.
It is the 18th and largest Marriott International property to launch in the city, with five dining destinations and more than 2,000sq m (21,528sq ft) of event space among its facilities.
A spa with seven treatment rooms is also available, which offers therapies and services such as manicures and pedicures; waxing; massages; facials; and therapy baths.
Elsewhere, the Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre includes a 25m indoor swimming pool; a whirlpool; a steamroom; and a sauna, along with a fully-equipped fitness suite.
General manager Meng Lo said: "Having opened several hotels with Marriott International in Shanghai and abroad, I truly believe this hotel is poised to make a significant impact."
